For sale is my 2.5-year-old Noriker mare, which I purchased directly from a breeder in Austria. Youma is kept in a herd of mares and is accustomed to 24/7 outdoor paddock turnout. She is familiar with the farrier and is regularly presented to him. She has been ground-trained appropriate for her age and is also accustomed to handling with crinkly foil, umbrellas, etc. She enjoys walks with her mare companion. Youma is a very people-oriented mare, eager to work and seeking the attention and engagement of her handler. Once she has bonded with someone, she will come to call from the pasture. I am looking for someone who is experienced in the training of young horses. She can be testing at times and needs a loving but consistent handler who has enough time to dedicate to her. Transporting in a trailer still needs to be practiced, as we have not done this yet.
