Merrie HŠK (Kroatisch sportpaard)

My mare is 16 years old and was bred by Trajbar Equestrian Club. She has a great deal of experience and knowledge behind her, but what has always been most valuable to me is her character.

She is calm, reliable, and willing. She has worked at children’s birthday parties, where both children and adults rode her. She has also participated in therapeutic riding. She is so calm that the bigger challenge for beginners is often getting her to go forward enough rather than having any problems with her. She is not spooky. She gets along well in a herd and is neither conflict-seeking nor dominant.

On trail rides, she can be ridden alone or with other horses, either leading or following. She stands quietly and patiently when tied. She gives all four feet without any problems, whether for picking out and cleaning her hooves or for trimming and shoeing.

Simply put, she is a horse you can trust.

Health-wise, she is sound and well. She has never had a foal, has had no injuries or colic. She is regularly dewormed, her hooves are trimmed regularly, and her teeth are routinely floated.

She is a very willing, reliable, and safe horse with a great deal of experience and knowledge.

Her only issue is that she sometimes windsucks when kept in a stall. She does not like being confined and is much happier in an open barn/run-in setup with turnout. When she has to stay in a stall, she wears a windsucking collar that prevents her from doing so.

She is a fully mature, experienced, and reliable horse who has so much to offer the right person.

Over the years, she has given me far more than I could ever put into a single advertisement. That is precisely why my most important priority is finding someone who will truly appreciate what they have in her.
