Fabaloso aka the Fabulous Appaloosa!!! Yes also named after the best smelling floor cleaner ever. Fabaloso is a 13 year old (verified by a vet) and 15.1 hands tall blanketed Appaloosa. In my opinion a very unique looking and very pretty Appaloosa. But I’m very partial to him!
Fabaloso is absolutely gentle kind soul that would be the most ideal horse for first time horse owners. He is so unbelievably kind, soft eyed, straight to the point, no nonsense type of gelding. The kind that is reliable, steady, and seasoned. He is a been there done that type because he has literally been there and done everything. He has been ridden across mountain ranges, hunted off of, and has packed gear through the great backcountry. He crosses water, logs, bridges, brush, and terrain of every kind like he's done it a thousand time. Where most horses spook or hesitate around traffic, busy roads, trains, crowds of people, Fabaloso doesn't even blink an eye at it. 🚂 We took him to town and watched the train pass, he stood right bedside it and wasn't bothered by it with a 6 yr old on his back. How many horses do you know will do that?!?! Have you ever stood beside a moving train? I’m talking like 5 ft from it and felt the wind rushing by you and heard the loud noses it makes. It will make your heart race even as a human. He rode right next to out with a very timid little 6 yr old on his back. Absolutely didn’t even faze him at all. 🚂 This gelding is as solid in town as he is on the trails. Ride him right down the street with cars buzzing past, trucks rolling by, and everyday commotion with confidence knowing he will not spook. He's been down Main Street, through neighborhoods, and into busy areas without a single worry. Fabaloso is fun and easy to ride. That old fashioned broke type. You can ride him with a string around his neck.
He is light and responsive. Absolutely does everything you ask him to do without hesitation. Fabaloso is an in-your-pocket, meet-you-at-the-gate kind of gelding. He's soft, gentle, and genuinely enjoys people.
You can saddle him cold, saddle him warm, saddle him after time off—he stays the same, broke and honest. Rides bareback. He rides in a halter, hackamore, or bit, it doesn't matter to him. Even if you are a complete beginner, you can ride him and enjoy him. Absolutely safe with no bad habits whatsoever. I can't say that enough. It doesn't matter if you have never owned a horse before. You can learn on this one. You can build your confidence. But if you are an advanced rider looking for safe you can enjoy him too. Stall him or turn him out-either way, he's content and an easy keeper.
Fabaloso is the full package with the kind of temperament people spend years searching for. Fabaloso is a very easy keeper. Requires no maintenance of any kind. He can go bare foot or put shoes on him. He sells 100% sounds with no issues.
