Aurora is a 4-year-old, 15.2hh Gypsy/ QH cross paint mare. Not only does she have the beauty, but she was blessed with brains, too! She rides both English and Western. She always cares for her riders and is a lovebug on the ground. She is a rose among the thorns and one of the nicest mares you will meet. On the trail, Aurora has packed a variety of riders, from complete beginners to advanced riders! She is careful, slow, and surefooted. She is always happy to go out and is ready for any adventure. We have ridden her all over through the woods, along the road, in open fields, and into the pond; She’s as unflappable. She’s in no rush and enjoys taking in the sights for a relaxing ride. She’s as comfy as a couch and has the smoothest walk, trot, and canter. Even if you aren’t a “mare person,” we can guarantee Aurora will change your mind. She’s lovely and kind in every way. Aurora is also fantastic in the ring! This girl is very hard to find a flaw in. She’s happy to mosey around on a loose rein but will collect up when asked. Her brakes are impeccable; she will stop on a dime with just a “whoa” or a shift of your seat. She’s packed around the kids and adult beginners like a champ. She’s lovely over jumps and is so easy to jump. We’ve been keeping it light with the jumping because of her age, but we couldn’t ask her to do any better. She’ll pop over cross rails and small verticals in the ring and has even been out cross-country schooling! She is cute and honest in every way. She could easily excel in fox hunting or lower-level dressage. She has the proper foundation to go in any direction. On the ground, Aurora is safe to work around. The kids can run around her, brush her, lead her in and out of the field, and tack her up. She loves people; in the barn, her head is always hanging out of her stall looking for attention. She is well-behaved for the vet and farrier and loads right into the trailer. Aurora is the one if you want a solid young horse that you don’t have to worry about and can relax on!
