Anyone looking for a true Frisian is looking for Wieke. Wieke is the baroque type and will develop into an even more baroque horse than she is now. She is a friendly mare whose sire is the well-known stallion Nane 492, who is noted for his offspring’s pleasant temperaments. Wieke is also a very lovely and sweet mare. She loves attention and doesn’t have any of the typical mare’s quirks. She has only just started under saddle but is taking to it very well. She is still quite green, but we consider character more important than the mileage – that will come naturally! If necessary, we may train her a little further here at our stables. Wieke has a beautiful, broad build and moves well too. We really see her as an all-rounder who can be used for both competition and leisure, and simply for giving and receiving cuddles! Wieke has recently undergone an X-ray examination, which showed no issues. Wieke is a beautiful, breed-typical Friesian studbook mare by Nane 492 Sport-Elite x Fridse 423 Sport, out of a Ster+Sport dam.
