If he’s not something different, then I really don’t know what is. Even if you’re not a huge fan of Appaloosas, I really don’t know how you couldn’t like him, it’s not everyday you find a true buckskin Appaloosa. Pretzel has great conformation, a nice head and a kind eye. Has a nice build, good bone and nice big feet. He is absolutely bombproof, quiet, and safe in every single way. Beginner safe, kid safe, husband safe, turn key for lessons and or therapy. This gelding rides English and western as well. He doesn’t do one discipline better than the other and rides both equally as well as one another. Knows his leads, moves off leg and rides in a snaffle. Pretzel has SUPER smooth, comfortable gaits and has a true rocking horse lope. He will lope right off from a stand still and is balanced, slow, collected and the perfect lope for teaching riders how to lope/canter. He has a jog you can sit to all day long and will trot out if you want to post. This horse is effortless to ride, if you can sit up there and hold the reins you can ride him. Rides bareback, bridleless and you can even jump him with no hands! He is very willing to jump and would be a great horse for teaching a rider to jump. He never gets forward or hot and only goes as fast as you ask him to go. This horse doesn’t need to be consistently ridden to be the same horse every single ride. He is consistently quiet whether he’s ridden daily, weekly or monthly. Rides around the arena perfectly and also trail rides anywhere you point him. Rides down the road, away from the barn, in the woods with or without other horses. He is not spooky, lookey or nervous. Pretzel is a super nice all around horse that’s just as safe as you can find one. We’ve had him around for awhile now and have had a lot of fun with him. He has been my go to horse for guests, friends and riding him to take videos of other horses. On the ground he has a very personable in your pocket personality. First one to greet you at the gate and never hard to catch. Exceptional ground manners and good for everything and anything. You can have him live inside or out with no issues what so ever. Requires no maintenance or supplements. He is barefoot and 100% sound. Up to date on everything and ready to go to his new home now.
