Bruno is the kind of horse that makes you look forward to the next ride. This 8 year old, 15 hand bay roan is a stout built dude with a quiet, dependable nature and the kind of mind that makes him easy to enjoy. From the moment you catch him, he is happy to stand tied in the cross ties, stand to be saddled, bathed and groomed, and he gets along well with the other horses whether he is turned out in a blended herd or kept in a stall. He is the kind of horse that is pleasant to have around and easy to go about your day with. There is no need to make a big fuss over him or spend your time trying to convince him to cooperate. Bruno simply goes about his business and does what is asked of him.
Take Bruno down the trail and he really shines. He is a true point and go horse that will take you wherever you point him without making a big production out of it. He will walk up and down hills, cross logs, go through the water and keep right on going. He is just as comfortable riding out with a group as he is heading out alone. He loads on the trailer well, hauls great and takes to new places like he has been there a hundred times before, which makes him a horse you can take along and enjoy without worrying about how he is going to handle the change of scenery. Bruno is the kind of trail partner you can trust to keep his head when you come across something new. Whether you are spending a quiet afternoon wandering the trails or taking him somewhere he has never been, he settles in and gets the job done.
In the arena, Bruno has a nice one hand neck rein, a comfortable trot and lope, catches both leads and has an easy stop. He is a really nice mix of woah and go, giving you enough horse to enjoy while still being quiet and manageable. He is the type of horse that can suit an intermediate rider but also has the safety and simplicity to be a great choice for a beginner with the right guidance. Bruno will also carry a flag, adding another fun aspect to what he can do. He is enjoyable to ride without needing to be constantly micromanaged, and he has the buttons there to make riding him simple and straightforward.
Bruno is safe, seasoned and ready to go be somebody’s next good horse. Whether your idea of a perfect day is spending the afternoon on the trails, putting some arena miles on, or loading up and heading somewhere new, Bruno is the kind of horse that makes it easy to say, “Yep, let’s go.” He is a horse that can fit into a lot of different programs and give his next rider the opportunity to simply enjoy having a good horse underneath them. If you are looking for a stout, quiet bay roan that is happy to get out and see the world, Bruno deserves a look.
