This is a cute, cute handy broke gelding that stands 14 hh. Pepsi is wrapped in a beautiful red roan color and man is he cool! A quick and easy way to explain this guy is that he is dirty broke. Pepsi can sit down, turn around, get his hocks in the ground, and lope on that big loose rein for days. We have sorted ropers, breakaway rope, heeled, cut, and done the cow horse on him. If there is a cow involved Pepsi is the gelding to use!
This five-year-old has been around the block in all aspects of the arena. Jared has had a lot of fun getting Pepsi going in all the cattle events due to the fact that he is so broke and willing. Pepsi puts all the try in his spins and will always hit the ground sliding. Whether he is on a loose rein or gathered up he will be there. Pepsi’s lope is flawless. He is one that you can sit back and relax while he just lopes for days. With him being as broke as he is, everything else has just come easy. Pepsi has a phenomenal start in both heeling and breakaway. He will sit in the box and patiently wait for the green light to go. Pepsi will naturally rate and stays cowed up. We have cut and ran this guy down the fence. This gelding would be really fun to take to the reined cowhorse shows!
Pepsi is always willing for whatever task at hand. He is a good boy out on the trails. Crossing water is of no concern and neither is riding alone. Pepsi is traffic safe and goes through our obstacle course care-free.
Pepsi is by a son of $24 million sire, One Time Pepto and out of a daughter of Wild Haired Cat who is a son of High Brow Cat with Shining Spark and Dual Peppy on the bottom for good measure. Pepsi is absolutely straight and correct in every way and 100% sound. We have had a lot of fun with him and know that you will too!
