Sherwin is a cool moving, cool looking, same day-in-day out kind of horse. He is one that is very easy to be around. We have given Sherwin ample time off and he does not change one bit. I have never seen this horse ever hump up or even feel the slightest bit of tight. We have done everything you can do on him from ranching, heading, to heeling you name it and he can do it. Sherwin is broke, he will ride and slide. On top of that, he will watch a cow. On the head side he has the fancy move that we love and will face. Sherwin is one of the most photogenic heel horses we have ever had, making that heel shot really spark behind the camera. He stops deep, square and solid with a great finish, never budging. As much as he likes to stop, he is free enough that he never takes away your throw away. We have rode Sherwin a lot outside and he is really fun. Nothing at all bothers him and he is dependable day in and day out. The cow horse his pedigree comes out when you put cattle in his line of sight; he is fun to sort on and is great at dragging calves. We have had Sherwin in Arizona the last 2 winters with us. Rodey hauled and won on him at different jackpots including the Texas Title Fights. Brooke has hauled him on the head side as well. If anyone shows up wanting to rope with us we always know Sherwin is a good go-to horse. Sherwin is easy to catch, shoe, bathe, haul and everything else in-between.
