"“Aurora” is a Percheron, Quarter Horse cross, yearling filly, currently measuring 14.1hh at the withers and 14.2hh at her rump, foaled May 22nd of 2024. This is by far the kindest, sweetest, most laid back yearling I have ever met in my life. She is extremely in your pocket, and gentle. Aurora will be registered with the draft cross registry. Her father is a blue roan Percheron and her mother is a paint mare. Her parents are known for their good nature, which absolutely got passed down to this beautiful girl. Not only are her parents good natured, she has wonderful breeding resulting in a totally versatile, agile, filly. Aurora has a very bright future ahead of her, and someone is going to be very lucky to own this amazing horse. 

In the barn, Aurora has zero bad habits. She can live in or out, alone or with others. She comes running to you in the pasture for scratches and attention and will not leave your side until you exit the pasture. She wants to be your buddy, and she is a big puppy dog. With how personable she is at this age, she is going to be your best friend under saddle when it comes time. I see a loyal, intelligent horse here. Aurora stands tied quietly on the cross ties and straight tied. She is safe for kids and beginners to work with and doesn’t mind dogs running all around her. She picks up her feet, is good with fly spray, and getting a bath. She doesn’t care what you do with her as long as she gets to be involved! She adores attention! 

Aurora came to us with a really great brain, and a super chill personality, we have been exposing her to new things such as tarps, balls, obstacles and she took right to it like an old pro. You can’t teach a horse to have a mind like this, and if she’s this great now, she’s only going to continue to get better! Aurora can be handled by children and beginners. She has great ground manners. She is not pushy or rude and acts like an old soul. We have introduced her to crossing water, going through the woods, and doing other trail obstacles. Everything that we have thrown at this baby, she has taken with stride. She is extremely intelligent and quick to learn. In my opinion, this girl was “born broke”. Aurora is curious and wants to engage in activities. New “scary” things, you can see the thought process and watch her think it all through, then engage and enjoy it. 

Aurora is good for the vet and farrier. She loads and trailers well. She has zero maintenance and is an easy keeper. She is not marish at all. She can go out with mares and geldings. She is also doing well with learning to lunge!

Aurora is sired by a stallion named “Blue Dollar Bill”, he is a registered blue roan Percheron stallion who stands 16.2hh. He is color tested and 6 panel N/N. She is out of an APHA mare named “Diaman H QT Apache”, who is a bay and white tobiano. She is also color tested and 6 panel N/N. Her sire is known for his keen looks, loving personality, a kind hearted nature, and balanced conformation. Her mother is also known to be gentle natured, and kind. Her mother has fantastic bloodlines. Her mother’s grandsire goes back to the famous “Doc Olena”, who was inducted into the AQHA, and NCHA hall of fame. This filly is naturally bred to be agile, athletic, gentle, and smart. Whether you are looking for a future dressage, roping, ranch, fox hunter, western dressage, cow horse, trail horse, trick horse, driving horse, this young lady has the bloodlines to go do it all, and be good at it.
