Meet Amigo, a fabulous 14-year-old Palomino gelding standing at a friendly 14.3 hands tall! They say blondes have more fun, and Amigo is living proof of that—this guy is an absolute blast to ride and be around! With years of experience under his belt, he’s done a little bit of everything, making him experienced. Don’t let his age fool you; Amigo is a seasoned veteran with plenty of pep in his step! He’s taken part in 4-H shows, both English and Western, and knows his way around the playday events. He’s even tackled cross rail jumps! Amigo is the kind of horse who will go wherever you point him, making him a true “point-and-go” buddy. He’s also been a reliable partner in moving cattle from pasture to pasture and has a lovely running walk that makes covering ground a breeze. Amigo has explored miles and miles of beautiful trails and has enjoyed weekend camping trips at various parks. He’s fearless when it comes to crossing logs, water, and bridges, and he confidently navigates through brush, all while keeping his cool around wildlife like foxes, deer, and elk. Amigo has a delightful short lope that’s just a joy to ride, whether you’re out on the trails or meandering through the pastures. In the arena, he’ll walk, trot, and lope circles with ease, always picking up the correct leads. His neck rein is fantastic, making him easy to handle. He’s friendly and easy to ride, which means you can enjoy every moment in the saddle! This wonderful gelding is great around dogs, kids, and other horses, making him the perfect addition to any family. He’s easy to tack up and bridle, stands patiently for the farrier, loads and unloads off the trailer without any fuss, and stands tied like a champ.
