If you are looking for that gelding that you can walk up to in the pasture after not seeing him for a week, and just swing up on (with just that random hay-twine that you just found in your pocket) and ride peacefully all the way back to the barn, lope some circles, detour to check your fence, or go through the pond, whatever you want to do… then this is your guy. “Chip” is broke BROKE. He has smooth easy gaits, is trained to death, has all the buttons you could ask for, and is easy, smooth, and uncomplicated to ride. He loves going to town, loves hopping in the trailer, and is happy to do whatever’s asked of him. Want to ride backwards, he thinks you’re ridiculous, but he’s good with it… Dress him up for Halloween…fine… Drop your bridle anywhere, …sure. Liberty work? He will try it all. Chip was originally trained as a reined cowhorse, and the last few years, he’s spent a lot of time babysitting the most precious cargo outside around the ranch and at the local shows. He will excel at the ranch horse versatility shows, or would be a great all around horse for a 4H or junior rodeo kiddo. If your confidence has been shook …and you’re needing something that you can just 100% relax on and enjoy, then this is your guy. Or if you have a family member starting out, and you don’t want them on the typical plug deadhead starter horses, and you want them mounted on something that actually rides around – this is him! He will tolerate just about any silly business, and is easy enough for just about anyone to get along with, but still has all the buttons where someone can learn to ride properly. He has lots of knowledge to pass along! Chip is up to date on all cares, was just looked over by our vet, his teeth done by our equine dentist, and he was just shod this past week, and he was just power packed wormed. He will arrive to you ready to go to work the day you get him!
